Where is Resveratrol Derived From?
Resveratrol is a naturally occurring compound that can be derived from various sources. The standard sources of resveratrol are grapes, red grapes in particular. Long ago, the best way that one could get resveratrol is through the consumption of red wine. Conversely, resveratrol occurs in the skin of red grapes thus when wine is made from grapes, this compound ends up in the bottle.
While doctors recommend the consumption of red wine on a moderate basis, there can be side effects because one might take one too many, get drunk and not be able to do anything after that. Worse still, one can get addicted to alcohol, which is another disease altogether that you’ll have to fight.
